Finally. It's stopped raining - The glorious sun had finally came out from behind the clouds today...
I've been seeing everyone in the northern hemisphere wearing such lovely summer dresses and I've been growing quite jealous. I do like Winter and yes, it's just the waking up in the morning that icks me about Winter ... but oh, summer dresses...So when I woke up to the warm brilliance of sunshine, well...that just gave me an excuse to wear a summer dress over a light sweater.

So , all I did today was just bask under the sunshine, absorbed in a wonderful and classic read. I had woken up early in the morning, enjoyed a refreshing jog around the block (since I've gained 4kg from binge eating during the exam due to stress ><" my my), ate breakfast of egg and toast and finally, in the afternoon, basked in the glorious sun...with tea and a time of re-read: my all time favourite book, 'Good Wives' written by Louisa M.Alcott.

Mum then bought out sliced hot dogs which I insisted be eaten from dainty dishes. Lovely. And then of course, I served ice-cream no less. Mmm...yummy yummy. I've been craving for ice cream all week long. Daddy bought it home yesterday night and now, it's in my tummy. Yayes to ice cream!! It makes me feel so sweet inside.

I hope you are feeling as sweet as I am inside. ^^

Lots of love, Cotton Candy.

Te had asked me in the last postwhether I had found my sixth quirk yet and I am quite happy to say that, yes, I have. My sixth quirk (if it is a quirk - more like a horrible feature) is that I talk/mumble to myself ... especially at night, when I'm sleeping. I do not believe that it occurs often but my sister says that when it does happen, she cannot sleep because it petrifies her. Indeed...?? How is it possible when she sleeps in the room next to mine? She says that she feels terribly sorry for my future husband-to-be and she wonders how on earth will he be able to share the same bed with me. My gosh - she should not be thinking such things. Well all I know hope is that this future hubby of mine will be dressed in these gorgeous suits to share the lovely days with me... or perhaps, with no suits (& clothes) on at all... ^.~ kekeke...

Inspired by paintings of Rene Magritte, these magazine scans from China's BAZAAR Man's, January 2008 are really really old...well somewhat old but I just had to add them into my blog for I love love love men in well-tailored suits. Don't you?

And oh...has anyone seen Colin Firth in Mamma Mia. I'm in love all over again. Not only does he act, he also sings. What a man.

Hopelessly in love, Cotton Candy.

Long time no post. Been real busy and far too tired. Been living rather than just existing. That's real important. My dear readers: Live. Don't just exist.

Before I go out, a real quick post that's been long overdue. I had been tagged by the lovely Yumiko from Trials & Tribulations back in early April and lol, this is long overdue, mostly because I haven't been able to think of any self-quirks until now... =p

  1. Link the person who tagged you.
  2. Mention the rules in your blog.
  3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours.
  4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them
  5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger's blogs letting them know they've been tagged.
So here goes:

  1. I will never eat lunch by myself in a public space, no matter how hungry I am. That is, unless I am preoccupied with something such as reading a book, researching on a computer and what not. But yes, you will never fine me "formally" eating lunch alone in a public space because I hate eating alone.
  2. I don't know how to blow bubble-gum. I've tried many times. I've been taught many times (if it is possible to teach the art of blowing a bubble gum) but I just don't have the skills.
  3. Whenever I am stuck on ideas for assignments, I will always take a shower because the best ideas occur during the showers. Hence, you may find me having several showers in one day. This is an especially terrible quirk because there are water restrictions currently in Australia. So I try to resort to five minute showers but sometimes I get so deep in my thoughts that I literally stand in the hot soaking shower for 15-30 minutes...

  4. I always wear odd socks. That's because the other half is always somewhere other than in my wardrobe. Strange. I swear, they must get eaten up by the washing machine.

  5. Once I get in the car, I don't want to talk. Just leave me in peace. Let me stare out the window, absorbed in my own thoughts and daydreams. lol. Clearly, I don't make a very exciting car passenger. xD

  6. ...

I gave up. I think I'm a bit on the boring side. HAHAHAHA!!! *awkward...* If I do think of a sixth quirk, I'll let you know...

But before I let you know my sixth quirk, I guess the following six bloggers must tell me theirs first (& if you've done it, then you must direct me to the post for I am a curious girl). ^.~

Lots of love, Cotton Candy
